Our first product, infant carrier Albert, has become an icon with two major design awards and coming up as double test winner at the European consumer tests, whilst our rotating car seat, Marie, was awarded the prestigious iF Design Award 2020 and achieved Best in Category at the 2021 tests. With the recent launch of Charlie, our i-Size booster seat, Swandoo now offers a full line of high quality and intuitive car seats.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
• You will work in a casual start-up environment on a wide scope of tasks ranging from corporate identity, product graphics, website, print material, exhibition design, packaging and POS. 
• You will have the chance to contribute to innovative projects and are expected to participate in proposing ideas, their discussion and further development.
You will continue to expand on our corporate identity, print products, packaging and digital design projects from ideation to implementation.
• You will contribute to the improvement of our workflow, and use your initiative to drive innovation in all areas together.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
• A strong portfolio clearly demonstrating your skills as a Graphic Designer. 
• At least 2 years professional experience (ideally advertising agencies) with a proven track record in developing ideas from concept to implementation.
Bachelor, Diploma or equivalent qualification.
A strongly developed understanding of Design Principles.
Genuine passion for design, innovation and for bringing ideas to life.
Good sense of humor and ability to keep your cool under pressure.
Great verbal and written communication skills, including English proficiency.
Critical and analytical thinking and courage to express yourself, to connect the dots, and have the guts to propose new ideas.
Collaborative, flexible, self-motivated, highly organized and detailed mindset.
Good sketching skills to discuss concepts with the team.
Excellent in Adobe CS tools especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Knowledge of MS Office, and specifically Excel.

BONUS SKILLS
• Digital Marketing know-how.
Any additional expertise in fields such as Animation, Motion Picture Production or Front/Back end Development.
Having read “Design is a Job” by Mike Monteiro is a big plus.
Fluency in German, or Chinese Mandarin, would be a super bonus!

Part-time (20 h/week) in Vienna

Swandoo is an award-winning international products company with offices in Vienna and Suzhou, China, that aims to enhance the well-being of parents and their children. With a full range of children’s car seats and continued success in safety tests and design competitions, Swandoo continues to push the boundaries of innovation in child safety. To support our fast growing team in Vienna, we are looking for a reliable and organised person to help manage the day-to-day administrative tasks and work on a range of diverse projects. Key Responsibilities:
• You will liaise with public administration, manage orders and correspondence, and maintain office supplies to ensure a smooth operation of the office.
• You will plan and coordinate events, meetings, business trips, and social gatherings.  
• You will ensure facilities are well-maintained, coordinate repairs and maintenance, and contribute to a safe and enjoyable work environment.
• You will oversee the procurement, maintenance, and organisation of office technology and equipment. 
• You will track expenses, process invoices, and liaise with the finance department.
• You will manage email communication regarding account receivables.
• You will assist with recruitment and onboarding, manage employee records, attendance and leave, and address basic HR inquiries

What you’ll get:
The position is part-time (20h/week, with the possibility of increasing the weekly hours), based in Vienna, and begins immediately. You will report to our Deputy General Manager and Project Manager.

A minimum salary of € 1.000 net per month (20 h/week). Overpayment is possible depending on additional professional qualifications and experience.
