Our new Footrest for the Marie Series improves the comfort of your little one by reducing the weight on the legs which ensures unrestricted blood circulation. Now you can focus on the road ahead of you, and get a different kind of kick out of your trip!

Compatible with our Marie Series, the Footrest will keep your child comfortable on longer journeys.

WHEN TO USE THE FOOTREST?

Keep an eye out for the following signs:

• Fidgeting or restlessness
• Kicking or pushing their feet into the front seat
• Putting their feet up on the car seat edge
• Complaints of tired legs
• Expressing the feeling of “ants” in their feet
• Having trouble keeping their upper body upright

At Swandoo, we recommend extended rear-facing travel (Read more here), but when it comes to convenience, forward-facing is often prioritised by parents beyond that initial 15-month period for a variety of reasons. That’s why we created the Footrest for the Marie Series – so you can rely on only the highest levels of care for your little ones, in both scenarios.

Remember, our Child Direction Assistance (CDA) in Marie 3 will ensure you don’t turn your child forward-facing before that mandatory period.

With a simple placement, and turn of a knob, the Footrest is safely secured in place whilst taking up no more space in your vehicle than Marie’s rear-facing installation. And when it comes to installation, easy peasy! The footrest attaches to Marie’s support leg, and latches on via a couple of turns of a handle.

CRASH-TESTED, CRASH-PROOFED

No test dummy was harmed in the process! The footrest has passed all stress tests, and comes fully tested in front and side impacts! As the Footrest is tightly attached to the support leg itself it stays in place also in case of an impact.
